This is Ripley's current soundboard displays. He has 3 separate clusters of with each containing up to 7 buttons. We started with the largest Main Board and then soon realized we would potentially have to create more boards in other areas of the house. Eventually we added a second soundboard, and then more recently a 3rd board.
When Ripley presses a button, the button lights up and the word pr phrase is played through one of ripley's 2 speaker tiles. Ripley's humans then get notified on the FluentPet app. The notificaton looks like a text message. The FluentPet App also keeps a record of preses and mesaures statistics over time.
